Meet the Principal- Calie VanDermark
Calie VanDermark
It’s a great day to be an Eagle!
This is my 15th year with Noblesville Schools and my ninth year as principal of White River Elementary. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a school community that puts kids at the heart of everything we do.
This year, we’re celebrating The Ripple Effect: Small Actions. Lasting Impact. It’s a reminder that what we do each day matters. A kind word. A moment of encouragement. Choosing to help. Small actions can make a big difference in the lives of others.
Before becoming an educator, I served in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that continues to shape the way I lead and serve others. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Graceland University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Indiana University.
Outside of school, I’m a proud mom of two. My daughter is an environmental engineer living in Chicago, and my son is a senior at Indiana State University. I love being outdoors, yoga, traveling, and spending time with my family.
I believe parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. We appreciate the trust you place in us and value the partnership between home and school. I’m grateful to share these years with your children and to be part of the White River community.
Soaring with you,
Calie VanDermark
Principal, White River Elementary
