Calie VanDermark

It’s a great day to be an Eagle! This is my ninth year at Noblesville Schools and fourth as White River’s proud principal. A team attitude reigns supreme at White River where our 21-22 motto is Together We Can! It takes our staff, families, and community to realize the potential of our students and I believe that Together We Can! 

Personally, I am a proud mom! My daughter is a freshman at Purdue University and my son is a high school senior. Together we love new adventures, fitness, and time spent outdoors.

Professionally, my first service based profession was as a United States Marine. Traveling and living in many different places across the U.S. has brought a greater understanding and respect for the diverse customs and courtesies of our country’s unique communities. After relocating from New Orleans, LA with my family to the Indianapolis area, I worked as a first/second grade teacher, Title I teacher, and Assistant Principal. I earned an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at Graceland University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Indiana University.

I look forward to learning more about you and your family as we work in partnership to support your child’s success. Building relationships and establishing effective lines of communication is so important to me.
